Application of jazz theory, concepts, and aural skills, including nomenclature, jazz melody and harmony, solo analysis, standard jazz and contemporary repertoire, and group and individual playing. (Offered fall semester.) Prerequisite(s): Minimum grade of C in MUSIC 133 and or permission of instructor.
