Requirements for Mathematics Major with Education Licensure:
Choose one from the following:
Note
- This program prepares the student to seek licensure for teaching mathematics in grades 7-12 in the schools of Ohio. Information regarding the Completion of the Adolescence to Young Adult teacher licensure program may be found under the School of Education of this Bulletin.
- Students earning a Mathematics Major with Education Licensure degree cannot simultaneously earn a Mathematics degree.
Signature Learning Requirements for Mathematics Education Licensure Majors:
- First Year Seminar - EDUC 151 EDUC 151 - Foundations of the Education Profession
- Reading and Writing (Grade of C or better required)
- Oral Communication (Grade of C or better required)
- Ethics
- Quantitative Reasoning - (Requirement fulfilled with Major)
- Religion
- Fine Arts *
- Social Science - (Requirement fulfilled with Major)
- Cultural Pluralism *
- Natural Science - (Requirement fulfilled with Major)
- Humanities
- Global Systems
