NURS 321 - Parent-Newborn Nursing

This course focuses on the transitions related to the childbearing family, the maternity cycle and women’s health issues. Students will have the opportunity in a health care setting to critically think through managing the care of parents and their newborns. Placement: junior year. (3 credits lecture, 0.25 credit lab and 1.75 credit clinical per 7 weeks) Prerequisite(s): NURS 110 , NURS 201 , NURS 202 , NURS 221 ,  .
