BIOL 370 - Advanced Human Genetics Credit Hours: 3 An in-depth examination of genetic topics as they relate to humans. This course will include studies of specific human diseases and the molecular mechanisms behind these diseases. Topics surveyed include stem cells, the genetics of aging, cancer therapies, and current research being done as it applies to solving problems in human genetics. Students will also develop skills in leading group discussions on bioethics. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 270 and BIOL 270L .
