This intermediate-level course offers a focused introduction to investment essentials, different asset classes, fundamental portfolio management, and an introduction to financial derivatives.  The course covers essentials of stock and bond investments, asset allocations, introductory portfolio theory, and security analysis basics.  The course highlights practical methods for valuing stocks and bonds.  Engaging students with investment games and practical exercises, the course aims to build a strong foundation for advanced finance and investment studies. (Offered spring.)
