MATH 215 - Elementary Statistics

A study of the concepts of descriptive statistics; counting techniques; probability, including experimental probability; special distributions; confidence intervals; tests of hypotheses; correlation and regression and applications that emphasize the behavioral, biological, and management sciences. Note: not open to students with credit for  . This course satisfies the Signature Learning Quantitative Reasoning requirement. (Offered fall and spring semester.) Prerequisite(s): MATH 110  or MATH 120 .   Max. Credits: 3
