The chemistry of halides, alcohols, carbonyl compounds, amines, phenols, carbohydrates, lipids and proteins. Must be taken concurrently with CHEM 234 unless the 232 instructor waives this requirement. Offered spring and summer. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 231. Corequisite(s): CHEM 232W and CHEM 234.
