An introduction to body components, their structure and function including: basic physiological and anatomical principles, osteology, myology and nervous control. Not applicable for major in biological sciences, except those in occupational therapy and physical therapy. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 151 or BIOL 170; CHEM 172, CHEM 171 or CHEM 150; or permission of instructor. Corequisite(s): BIOL-231L.
