Communication with an emphasis in Strategic Influence and Civic Leadership

A minimum of 124 semester hours is required for all undergraduate degrees for graduation. Some majors may require more than 124 credits.

Major Requirements: (35 credits)
History / Political Science (6 hours)
- Choose two courses from History or Political Science approved by advisor.
Signature Learning Requirements for Communication Majors:
- First Year Seminar
- Reading and Writing
- Oral Communication
- Ethics
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Fine Arts - (Requirement fulfilled by major)
- Social Science
- Religion
- Natural Science * (Students must take six (6) credit hours of Natural Science (the combination of the Natural Science and Society requirement and the Laboratory Science requirement)
- Humanities
- Global Systems
