A minimum of 124 semester hours is required for all undergraduate degrees for graduation. Some majors may require more than 124 credits.

Emerging Media Core Requirement:
Public Relations Specialization
Film and Media Production
Journalism Specialization
Performance Technology Specialization
Digital Design Specialization
Additional Requirements:
In order to ensure that the student has a broad exposure to the disciplines within convergent media, the student is required to take three (3) additional courses NOT in their specialization, and only two of the courses can be from the same content area (9 - 12 hours). Additional Requirements:
Additionally, the student is required to complete an approved off-campus agency internship experience (minimum 4 hours) or an on-campus agency utilizing all of the assets of the Convergent Media Center (CVMC). Signature Learning Requirements for Emerging Media Major
