Major Requirements: (42 credits) plus World Languages
Core Requirements - (30 credits)
Electives - (12 credits)
Choose three courses from the following: World Language and Culture - (8 credits)
- Choose two World Language and Culture courses or
- Language Placement equivalency
Signature Learning Requirements for Sociology Majors:
- First Year Seminar
- Reading and Writing
- Oral Communication
- Ethics
- Quantitative Reasoning - (Requirement fulfilled by Major)
- Fine Arts *
- Religion
- Social Science - (Requirement fulfilled by Major)
- Cultural Pluralism
- Natural Science - Students must take a minimum of SIX (6) credit hours of Natural Science courses (the combination of the Natural Science and Society requirement and the Laboratory Science requirement).*
- Humanities
- Global Systems
