Examines the evolution of economic theory in the context of the evolution of economics systems from the 17th century to the modern day. The history of economic theory, reflections on ways of organizing society to carry out production and distribution of goods and services; comparison of capitalism, communism and socialism, and problems of their historical development. (Offered fall/odd years)
Prerequisite(s): ECON 101, ECON 115, MATH 120 (or higher).
