NURS 500 - Applied Healthcare Statistics

This course emphasizes the use of statistics and data analysis; critical understanding of the meaning of statistical findings for utilization as a nurse in advanced practice and the use of computers in data processing. Topics include: descriptive statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, parametric and non-parametric statistics, reliability and validity. (3 credit hours online) (Offered fall/spring/summer)
Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of an undergraduate statistics course.
