NURS 412 - Professional Role in the Health Care System

Credit Hours: 2
Offers students transition strategies as they move into professional nursing practice. The course examines the role of the professional nurse with consideration given to political, social, economic, legal, and ethical dimensions of that role and the structure and process of the health care system. Issues of nursing management and leadership are integrated into the course. (Offered fall/spring)
Prerequisite(s): NURS 317 , NURS 318 , NURS 319 NURS 320 NURS 327 NURS 328 NURS 331 ,and NURS 332 .
