MUSIC 365 - Music Entrepreneurship Credit Hours: 3 An overview of the global music industry as practiced in the United States, this course will include a history of the music business and a study of professionals and organizations that operate within the music industry with an emphasis on potential revenue streams including copyrights and publishing. Students will conceive, research and write a business plan for an original and innovative music business idea that solves an issue. Marketing, promotion and press releases will be covered. Prerequisite(s): Junior standing.
