MUSIC 211 - Production and History of Electronic Music

Credit Hours: 2
A study of the history and production techniques of electronic music since the introduction of analog synthesis through the present. Includes Analog Synthesizer techniques, MIDI Sequencing, Software Instruments, Digital Sampling, and an introduction to hard disk recording. Minimum grade of C is required for Music Technology majors. (Offered spring)
Prerequisite(s): Music Major or BAPS - Music Technology Major or permission of music technology instructor.
