MATH 140 - Integrated Mathematics I

A deep understanding of mathematics content and mathematical practices designed for future elementary school teachers. Topics: Problem Solving; Number and Operations in Base Ten (number systems, place value, the meaning of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, strip/tape diagram and number lines); Number and Operations Fractions (the meaning of fraction and adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers, decimals, integers and fractions, ratios and proportional relationships, strip/tape diagram, double number lines, tables). (Offered fall/spring)
