FRNCH 410 - French Theater

Fulfills Fine Arts Goal. An examination of the development of French theater from the Middle Ages through the Enlightenment, Romantic period and modern Theater of the Absurd. Scenes and acts from each play will be performed in class (no memorization); lectures, discussion, videos, group work and extensive reading in French; oral and written reports.
Prerequisite(s): FRNCH 310 or FRNCH 311; and one other French course from Level 300 or 400.
