EDUC 382 - Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) Credit Hours: 4 This course prepares teacher education candidates to work with exceptional children with mild to moderate disabilities. A focus will be on children with emotional/behavioral disorders. Includes a field-based component with children with emotional and behavioral disabilities and the development of Functional Behavior Assessments and resulting Behavior Intervention Plans. Must take course prior to student teaching. (Offered fall/spring) Prerequisite(s): EDUC 201 and EDUC 231 .
