Exploration of the social origins of urban existence as a social system focusing on socio-historical development, organization, and problems of cities and urban life. Topics may include a comparative cities study, urban spatial design, demographic analysis, environmental and ecological challenges, transportation networks, and dimensions of urban sustainability.
