Requirements for history major with education licensure

Complete 35 hours in history including

two non-Western history courses and twelve additional hours of history

Notes:

In addition to the history major, students complete the adolescent to young adult licensure program for integrated social studies. This program prepares the student to seek licensure for teaching social studies in grades 7-12 in public schools. Information regarding the licensure program may be found under the Education Department  of this bulletin.
