Requirements for the financial economics major—Courses:
Business Core
The Business Core program provides a broad foundation in the five areas of accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing plus a working knowledge of quantitative methods and information systems. These courses provide the basis for advanced courses in a business major. Business Core
General Education Courses (with exemptions from the Quantitative Reasoning and Social Science General Education course requirements); ECON 115; BUS 101; 131, 225, 240, 242, 246, 260, 301, 321, 325, 390, 450; Math 221 or Math 215 and Math 225 or Math 230. plus at least nine credit hours of electives outside Business and Economics
At least 24 hours of BUS courses at the 300-400 level must be taken in residence at Capital University.
