African American / African Studies (18 hours)

The minors in Ethnic Studies and African American / African Studies is designed to provide opportunities for the systematic study of ethnic groups within the United States, as well as the study of the African heritage of African Americans. The minor are multidisciplinary in order for students to benefit from a wide range of perspectives. They are also designed to help to learn, to labor and to live in a culturally diverse society.  This is a reflection of Capital’s commitment to multicultural education.
