Requirements for Spanish Major:
To complete major requirements take electives from the following categories depending upon language placement:
Signature Learning Requirements for Spanish Majors:
- First Year Seminar
- Reading and Writing
- Oral Communication
- Ethics
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Fine Arts - SPAN 410 Hispanic Theater or choose from applicable cognate courses
- Religion
- Social Science
- Cultural Pluralism
- Natural Science - Students must take a minimum of SIX (6) credit hours of Natural Science courses (the combination of the Natural Science and Society requirement and the Laboratory Science requirement).
- Humanities - Fulfilled through Spanish Major or Spanish Minor
- Global Systems - SPAN 380 Immigration and Identity or choose for applicable cognate courses
