Core (16 hours):

ENGL 150 - Introduction to Literature
ENGL 204 - Creative Writing (Fulfills the Fine Arts Signature Learning requirement)
ENGL 340 - English Language
ENGL 480 - Senior Seminar for English Majors

Writing Courses (16 hours):

Three from:
ENGL 301 - Poetry Writing
ENGL 302 - Fiction Writing
ENGL 303 - Creative Non-Fiction
(The above three courses are repeatable for credit up to eight hours.)
One from:
ENGL 230 - New Media and Writing
ENGL 310 - Writing in the Professions
ENGL 336 - Writing for the Web

Literature (16 hours):

One from:
ENGL 250 - Survey of British Literature I
ENGL 251 - Survey of British Literature II
ENGL 255 - Survey of American Literature
One from:

Any 200-level or higher Literature course

Two from:

300-level or higher Literature courses

Language (8 hours)

Two semesters of the same world language.
