Requirements for Political Science major with education licensure

In addition to the political science major, students may complete the Adolescence to Young Adult licensure program for integrated social studies. This program prepares the student to seek licensure for teaching all social studies in grades 7-12 in the schools of Ohio. Information regarding this licensure program may be found under the School of Education of this Bulletin.

The requirements are as follows:

(Political Science Integrated Social Studies majors are exempt from Signature Learning Global Awareness and Social Science Goals.)

POLS 120 - Introduction to Political Theory (3)
POLS 210 - International Relations (3)
POLS 230 - Comparative Politics (3)
SOSCI 210 - Social Science Statistics (4)
SOSCI 220 - Social Science Research Methods (4)
Foreign Language: 8 hours in a foreign language (or proficiency test). American Sign Language is not included.
