Requirements for Marketing Major:
Business Core
The Business Core program provides a broad foundation in the five areas of accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing as well as a working knowledge of quantitative methods and information systems.
Business Core Requirements
Signature Learning courses (with exemptions from the Quantitative Reasoning and Social Science requirements); BUS 101; 131, 201, 211, 213, 221, 240, 242, 246, 260, 325, 390, 450; ECON-101 or ECON-115, MATH-120 and Math-215. Students must earn at least a C- in BUS-101 to take further Business courses. If necessary, students may repeat BUS-101 to achieve this minimum.
Residence:
At least 12 hours in the major requirements must be taken in residence at Capital University, not including the Business Core.
