Requirements for Major in Literature (48 hours)
Surveys: (8 hours)

Global: (4 hours)
one from:
Electives (20 hours):
one literature course ENGL 240 or above
two literature courses ENGL 344 or above
and
one from:
one other English or JRNL course (200-level or higher)
Signature Learning Requirements for Literature Majors:
- First Year Seminar

- Oral Communication
- Ethics
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Social Science
- Fine Arts
- Religion
- Cultural Pluralism
- Natural Science - Students must take a minimum of SIX (6) credit hours of Natural Science courses (the combination of the Natural Science and Society requirement and the Laboratory Science requirement).
