Financial Economics Major
Business Core The Business Core program provides a broad foundation in the five areas of accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing plus a working knowledge of quantitative methods and information systems. These courses provide the basis for advanced courses in a business major. Business Core Requirements Signature Learning courses (with exceptions from the Quantitative Reasoning and Social Science Signature Learning course requirements); Econ 101, ECON 115, Bus 101, 131, 201, 211, 213, 221, 240, 242, 246, 325, 390, 450; Math 120 and Math 215. Students majoring or minoring in any area of business must earn at least a C- in BUS-101. Students may repeat BUS-101, if necessary to achieve this minimum. Residence:
At least 12 hours of BUS courses must be taken at Capital University. Signature Learning Requirements (Accounting, Business Management, Financial Economics, Marketing Majors)
