Requirements for Marketing Major:
Business Core
The Business Core program provides a broad foundation in the five areas of accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing and a working knowledge of quantitative methods and information systems.
Business Core Requirements
Signature Learning courses (with exemptions from the Quantitative Reasoning and Social Science requirements); ECON 101 or ECON 115; BUS 101; 131, 201, 211, 213, 221, 240, 242, 246, 260, 325, 390, 450; Math 120; Math 215. Students majoring or minoring in any area of business must earn at least a C- in BUS-101. If necessary, students may repeat BUS-101 to achieve this minimum.
Residence:
At least 12 hours in the major requirements must be taken in residence at Capital University, not including the Business Core.

- Quantitative Reasoning - (Requirement fulfilled with Major)

- Social Science - (Requirement fulfilled with Major)
- Fine Arts
- Natural Science (Students must take a minimum of six (6) credit hours of Natural Science and the laboratory science requirement) *
