Requirements for Accounting Major:
Business Core
The Business Core program provides a broad foundation in the five areas of accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing plus a working knowledge of quantitative methods and information systems. Business Core Requirements
Signature Learning courses (with exemptions from the Quantitative Reasoning and Social Science requirements); ECON 101 or ECON 115; BUS 101; 131, 201, 211, 213, 221, 240, 242, 246, 260, 325, 390, 450; Math 120; Math 215. Students majoring or minoring in any area of business must earn at least a C- in BUS-101. If necessary, students may repeat BUS-101 to achieve this minimum. Recommended Electives: , . Residence:
At least 12 hours of major requirements must be taken in residence at Capital University, not including the Business Core. Signature Learning Requirements (Accounting, Business Management, Financial Economics, Marketing Majors)
