Business Core
The Business Core program provides a broad foundation in the five areas of accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing plus a working knowledge of quantitative methods and information technology. These courses provide the basis for advanced courses in a business major. Students must take from the Capital School of Management and Leadership at least one half of the business and economics courses required for their major in Accounting, Financial Economics, Leadership & Management or Marketing. Requirements for the business core—Courses:
General Education Courses (with exemptions from General Education Goals 3 and 8); plus four hours of marketing elective credit
plus at least nine credit hours of electives outside the School of Management and Leadership
