The Law School became part of the university in 1966. The Juris Doctor degree is awarded upon successful completion of 89 semester hours in either the three-year, full-time day program or the four-year, part-time evening program. A part-time day program began in fall 1999. In 2015, Capital launched Ohio’s first accelerated 3+3 Bachelor of Arts to Juris Doctor program.
