EDUC 311 - Learning Environments for Young Children(3) This course provides teacher education candidates with the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to establish and maintain physically and psychologically safe and healthy learning environments for young children that promote optimal development. The course explores a variety of theories, philosophies and resultant practices in caring for and educating young children. This course includes an intensive field-based component. Students must register for EDUC 211 , EDUC 212 and EDUC 311 concurrently. (Offered fall/spring.) Prerequisite(s): EDUC 151 . Corequisite(s): EDUC 211 and EDUC 212
