Fulfills Social Science Goal. An introduction to the principles of sociology including an examination of major theoretical frameworks, the social construction of reality, culture, social interaction, groups and organizations, deviance, and the various social institutions. Attention is paid to the theory and methodology of the social science.(Offered fall/spring.)
