NURS 409 - Nursing Research

This course involves the study of the historical development and current status of research in nursing and evidence-based practice in nursing. The course includes an in-depth examination of the research process, particularly as it relates to nursing. Students identify practice issues, critique published research and implement nursing research utilization strategies. Placement: Fall senior level or BSN-completion student who has completed   and  .  May be taken second semester of junior year with recommendation of faculty Adviser.
