MUSIC 310 - Recording Workshop Core Program

A creative learning experience that builds a strong foundation of skills and knowledge in music recording and audio production. Five weeks of full-time concentrated studio training. Recording techniques, including basic physics and theory, operation of consoles, multitrack recorders, microphones, equalizers, time-based effects, dynamic-based effects, monitors, mastering, and session procedures are covered. Taught at The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio. Offered year-round, see www.recw.com. NOTE: Students must register both at Capital and at the Recording Workshop. Prerequisite(s):  ,    for Capital Music Technology majors.  Corequisite(s):   for Capital Students.
