HIST 340 - Latin American Politics and History(3)
The history, culture, geography, economic relations and political systems of Latin America; the role of the Catholic Church, the military, multinational corporations, guerrilla groups and the United States within the context of Latin American politics. It will cover issues such as revolution, economic development, population growth, drug trade and the debt crisis. (Offered as needed with POLS 340 .)
