An introduction to accounting concepts and techniques essential to a business organization:  analyzing and recording business transactions; examining valuation and allocation practices; and preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements.  Includes a study of cost determination, cost control, and supplying financial information for managerial planning and decision-making. (Offered fall/spring.) Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing.
