NURS 321 - Parent-Newborn Nursing(5) This course focuses on the transitions related to the childbearing family, the maternity cycle and women’s health issues. Students will have the opportunity in a health care setting to critically think through managing the care of parents and their newborns. The course includes theory, laboratory practice, and clinical practicum. Placement: junior level. (3 credits lecture, 0.5 credit lab per 15 weeks and 1.5 credit clinical per 7 weeks).
