Introduction and overview of the music education profession. Students also complete modules in audiovisual materials, classroom management, and special learners and reading in the content area. Fifteen hours of observation earned toward teacher certification in Ohio. Must achieve minimum grade of C. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing.
