Gen Ed Goal #8. This course helps students develop the skills and basic knowledge required for the critical study of politics. Through an examination of a range of texts, films and other media, students will develop an understanding of basic political principles, procedures, methods, institutions, and processes. Students will also consider the role that people play in shaping how governments behave, both domestically and as members of a global community.
