Music Therapy is a vibrant field that includes the areas of: music, psychology, social work, human development, special education, medicine and the health sciences. This introductory course includes a historical perspective of the development of the profession and discusses the many populations most commonly served by music therapists and the therapy interventions that are possible. Offered irregularly. Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing.
