MUSIC 218 - Music Theory and Keyboard for BAPS Music Technology

This course is designed to expose students to music theory and notation skills through the use of the piano. The coursework will focus both on technical skills (scales, chords) and also the application of these skills (harmonizing, improvising). Material will include a variety of musical styles, including but not limited to jazz, pop, rock and classical. Offered both semesters. Prerequisite(s): BA Music Technology Major.
