An exploration of the role of the Bible in clarifying both the methods and the goals of pastoral care, and the contributions made by our practice of pastoral care to our interpretation and understanding of scripture, toward the goal of developing of a method that responsibly and meaningful related the Bible (as a written document) and persons (as “living human documents”) to each other.
