A historical and theological study of ancient Israel’s prophetic traditions and literature, the function and social location of prophecy, and its relationship to the Church’s canon and witness, with an exegetical focus on selected biblical texts.
Prerequisite(s):
MDiv: Take three of the following four courses: BL 1021 , BL 2022 , BL 1041 , BL 2042 .
MTS: BL 1021 and BL 1041 , or have permission of the instructor.
