MSW 640 - Theories and Models for Advanced Practice / Groups

Social workers use foundational knowledge and skills to develop and conduct various types of task and treatment groups. This course enhances skills to develop, assess, engage, and facilitate group process through various phases of growth. Formative and summative assessment measures inform continuous improvement. This course examines evidence-based practices aimed at engaging and empowering individual group members and the group as a whole to achieve outcomes. (Offered fall)
