MSW 620 - Writing for Social Work Practice

Social Workers document to comply with policies and procedures in professional settings. This includes record keeping, including informed consent, biopsychosocial histories, treatment plans, progress notes, termination summaries, and professional correspondence. This course achieves beginning competency in effectively documenting services and interventions at the micro, mezzo, and macro level while operationalizing ethical and legal standards.
