MSW 500 - Introduction to SWK Values and Ethics The purpose of this course is to introduce the profession and its focus on social justice as it relates to human rights, anti-racism, and anti-oppression in generalist and advanced practice. Contemporary practice is studied through history and context of social problems, policy, and service delivery. Students engage in personal reflection to determine their fit with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics. Ethical problem-solving models are introduced.(Offered fall)
