An examination of the theological problems raised by Israel’s exile to Babylon in the sixth century BCE and the responses given by four biblical traditions, including exegesis of selected texts.

Prerequisites & Notes
MDiv: BL 1021 Old Testament I, BL 2022 Old Testament II, BL 1041 New Testament I, and BL 2042 New Testament II. MTS: BL 1021 Old Testament I and BL 1041 New Testament I, or permission of the instructor
